Using Microsoft Publisher insert blank template image into a document, insert a text box across the top of the logo. Write text, and change font size to suit (the more writing the smaller it needs to be), change the colour to red and emboss it. Then use the candy melt as glue to stick the mini Oreos onto the regular sized Oreo as ears, allow to set. Melt the chocolate melts, carefully spoon chocolate onto each Mickey stick and allow excess to drip back into your chocolate bowl. Place onto a sheet of wax paper and add sprinkles. Soften candy writer in a mug of hot water, add buttons (dots) onto the "shorts". ![]() Ingredients: 1 x Batch of chocolate cupcakes 1 x Batch Buttercream frosting (see blog post) Chocolate Buttons Red Gel Colouring Yellow Gel Colouring Instructions: Split frosting and colour the majority red (be aware the colour will deepen over time) and the remainder yellow. Frost cupcakes with red frosting, push two chocolate buttons as ears (use picture as guide). Use a round tip to pipe yellow dotes onto cupcakes. ![]() Ingredients: 3 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 227 grams unsalted butter, room temperature 1 cup granulated white sugar 2 large eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla essence No taste Red Gel Colouring Yogurt covered raisins Instructions: Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt, and baking soda. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat until combined. Add the flour mixture and beat until you have a smooth dough. Add red gel colouring and kneed through dough (be aware red colouring deepens over time) Divide the dough in half and wrap each half in cling wrap, chill in the fridge for an hour. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a ¼ inch thickness. Use Mickey shorts cookie cutter (available for hire) to cut out cookies and press in two yogurt covered raisins. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes at 180°. ![]() Ingredients: 1x Batch of vanilla cupcakes 1x Batch of Buttercream frosting (See blog post) Oreos (regular size and mini size) Chocolate Melts Instructions: Frost the cupcakes. Separate the Oreos into halves and scrap out white filling. Melt chocolate melts as per package instructions and use to glue mini Oreos to the back side of the regular sized Oreo to create a Mickey head. Make a slice into cupcake and push Oreo cookie head into the slot. |
